Helpless Vessel

An ominous storm was building. The crew of a lone naval vessel were nervous. A shrill wail from the depths sent terror into their hearts. All hands went to battle stations as a monstrous creature cut through the ocean’s surface. It’s giant maw gaped and with a guttural groan it approached the helpless ship.
